Positive Reinforcement Training for Performance

Development and Behavior Rehabilitation

Through positive reinforcement horse training and a science-based, welfare-focused approach, Transformative Equine supports emotional safety, correct physical development, and long-term performance success. Based in Oak Harbor, Washington, the program specializes in starting young performance horses with strong foundations, and providing behavior rehabilitation for sensitive or misunderstood horses, guiding them toward greater confidence, clarity, and emotional resilience in their work.

Located in Oak Harbor and serving Whidbey Island and surrounding Washington communities, Transformative Equine Solutions offers professional horse training, private lessons, and virtual coaching for riders seeking ethical, welfare first performance development and behavior support.

Services

  • Personalized lessons are available for horse-and-rider pairs wanting to deepen communication, build confidence, or explore positive reinforcement in a clear and approachable way. Each session focuses on understanding behavior, creating emotional safety, and developing skills that support a more connected, responsive partnership.

Lessons are offered in person throughout Oak Harbor and surrounding areas, with virtual lessons available for clients outside the region.

  • Transformative Equine Solutions offers full and partial training programs tailored to each horse’s needs. Whether starting a young horse, supporting a horse with a complex history, or developing a performance partner with soundness and longevity in mind, each program is tailored to the individual horse.

    Training emphasizes:

    • Positive reinforcement and nervous-system awareness

    • Foundation building for young horses

    • Rebuilding confidence in sensitive or misunderstood individuals

    • Developing balanced, willing movement that protects long-term soundness

Programs are designed to meet the horse where they are and help them move forward with clarity, comfort, and consistency.

  • Destiny offers clinics and small-group workshops for barns and communities wanting to explore positive reinforcement, horse behavior, biomechanics, and whole-horse wellness. Clinics include a blend of education, demonstration, and individualized coaching, making them accessible to riders of all disciplines and experience levels.

These events are ideal for barns seeking a fresh perspective on training, behavior, and partnership.

Available throughout Washington and for limited travel upon request.
